Why Are My Kids Angry At Me Since My Divorce?

roundup articles divorce with kids

One of our readers asked a question recently…

Why Are My Kids Angry At Me Since My Divorce?

Here’s what I think about this question about angry kids after divorce

In my own experience kids might become angry for a few reasons. Here are two that stick out right now that you may want to consider…

First, they’re upset that their world has changed. They used to live with two parents, in one household, and now they have to have all of this drama injected into their lives (against their wishes).

Secondly, they could feel that you are to blame for the divorce and the family being separated. This could come from what they perceive, what they believe, what they are being told by someone else, or simply becuase they need an outlet or want attention.
